When I was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer, we made the tough decision to temporarily relocate to Houston for treatment at MD Anderson—the best place to be, hands down. That means six months away from home, while still keeping our place in Nashville. My fiancé is traveling back and forth to keep things afloat, and we’ve had to re-home our two dogs and our cat (don’t worry, they’re with people who love them!).
