My name is Alvaro Boza, and I am the son of Alejandro Boza, a proud U.S. Army Veteran who served during World War II. My father taught me to live with honor, to fight for what is right, and never to give up.
Today, I am facing one of the toughest battles of my life: I have been diagnosed with myxoid liposarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. On June 10, 2025. I underwent major surgery at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue (see real images below), and I still have a long road ahead filled with follow-up scans, treatments, and physical recovery.
Unfortunately, I do not have the family support that I should have during a time like this. Only my mother the widow of my father, the WWII veteran has stood by my side with unconditional love. But she does not have the financial means to help. She’s already done more than she can. The rest of the Boza family… has simply turned their backs.
I am now facing severe financial strain. Between medical bills, medication, and special dietary needs, I’m at a breaking point. I’m not giving up but I need help to keep going.
I’m not asking for pity I’m asking for solidarity. A helping hand. A sign that I am not alone in this fight. Any donation, no matter how small, can make a huge difference in my life.
And if you can’t donate, please share this campaign. Every prayer, every word of encouragement, every act of support counts.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for standing with me. May God bless you and your family.
Alvaro Boza.
