It breaks my heart to feel pushed to ask for help but my sweet Willow needs all of the love and support she can get right now.
I would do anything in this world for my baby, she is my whole world and my bestfriend.
We went to the vet Thursday (6/12) around 6 am because she was experiencing serious abdominal pain and restlessness. The vet gave her fluids, did several exams and tried stomach, pain, and anxiety medications, which was all very costly. We are back at the vet today and from what they can tell she is experiencing intestinal twisting which could be caused by several things. To be 100% sure, they need to do X-rays as well as ultrasounds to really get a good look in her tummy and see if we can rule out surgery.
I am fortunate enough to have friends who are still in rescue and are willing to cover her surgery costs, but unfortunately not her X-rays and ultrasounds. I tried everything I could to get approved for pet insurance but I was not successful.
We need $1,000 today to cover the rest of Willow’s Xray/Ultrasound costs.
I have had Willow since she was 6 months and she is going on 12 years old now, she’s my sweet angel and my whole heart. If you know her, you know she’s always had tummy issues mostly stemming from anxiety as she’s a rescue and has serious ptsd. She was run over by a car on her stomach and back hips in 2018 and ever since then her stomach issues have worsened.
She is in a lot of discomfort and some pain right now, we need to make sure she doesn’t need emergency surgery.
