Help Support Gage McBride’s Recovery
We are reaching out on behalf of Gage McBride, who recently endured a devastating motorcycle accident that has left him facing a long and difficult recovery. Gage sustained multiple severe fractures, including breaks in his right femur, left tibia, fibula, and ankle, right ulna and radius, right clavicle, cricoid cartilage, and several fractured ribs.
The medical team has put in countless hours of surgery, including skin grafts and the placement of titanium rods, to repair his injuries. Most recently, Gage underwent the amputation of his left leg just below the knee. Currently, he is grappling with the challenges of having no use of both legs and one arm. His recovery will be long and daunting, and he will require significant support during this time when he cannot care for himself or maintain his previous lifestyle.
Gage is a devoted father to his beautiful four-year-old son, who is the light of his life. Beyond being a father, he is a skilled ironworker, dedicated to his craft and passionate about providing meaningful job opportunities for his team. Gage treats his coworkers like family and works tirelessly to create roles that support their families as well. He is the kind of friend who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.
As Gage embarks on this challenging journey, it’s important to acknowledge that he will be unable to return to work for quite some time. Simple daily tasks that many of us take for granted will become significant hurdles for him.
Despite these challenges, Gage is one of the strongest people you will ever meet. With the right support, we have faith that he can heal and overcome these limitations. His only biological family member is his sister in Australia, but he has built a wonderful support network of friends here who care deeply for him.
If you are able to contribute in any way, it would mean the world to Gage and his family. He truly deserves all the support we can provide, just as he would give to anyone he loves. Let’s unite to help him on his road to recovery so he can continue being the amazing father and loyal friend that we all cherish.
Thank you for your kindness and support!
