My name is Tyler Little, I am 33 years old. I’m from Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in Austin, Texas. I enjoy the outdoors and deep discussion. I like taking care of animals, specifically TNR feral cats. Getting great coffee and reading a good book are among my favorite things.
I am in recovery and am doing well in sober living. I am recovering from alcoholism and opiate/amphetamine addiction. I will be 15 months sober as of June 15th. I’m making friends and finally have a job I’ve kept for more than a year and don’t completely loathe. I’m looking towards the future with hope. I’m forever grateful to those who’ve helped me so far.
I do have health insurance, which enables me to receive my medications, which are an important part of my recovery. However, where I am having trouble is dental work. As you probably know, it can be really expensive. Due to my actions and lack of action, my teeth and gum health is not great. I need 2 wisdom teeth removed, one of which is already broken down. I need a molar removed, which keeps me from eating on the right side of my mouth. Then there are the several root canals I need, likely amongst other work.
Your smile is such an integral part of who you are. When you feel like you can’t smile, life feels awful. It’s like the inability to greet someone with a smile honestly leads you to being isolated and afraid because you cannot greet someone naturally. Forget about finding someone you could strike up a romantic relationship with. But I am only looking to get myself and my teeth and gums in operating condition without pain. This is my plea to you. Please help me continue my recovery and the transformation I am making.
