Hi everyone,
My name is Annalisse McKee and I am raising funds for my dad, Todd McKee. On June 9th, 2025, my dad was not feeling well and took himself to the emergency room. He had a major stroke while in the hospital and is now in the recovery phase. Thankfully, we have seen improvement with his condition every day since the stroke and he will soon be taken to a rehabilitation facility in Destin, FL to receive intensive physical, occupational, and speech therapy. He still has his mobility and his speech is getting better every day. I have high hopes he is going to make a full recovery – he just needs a little help and that is where the therapy comes in.
We are asking for any donations to help my dad cover any bills over the next couple months and help get him back on his feet once he is home. My dad is the strongest person I know. He was a body builder and a triathlete. He even did an Iron Man when I was young. If anyone can get through this, it’s him. He has always amazed me with what he has accomplished in his life. He is a real life superhero to me.
One week ago, I started my PhD program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I am so grateful my dad has supported me to get this far in my career. I’m going to be traveling to Florida as much as I can to help him during his recovery. Any support is greatly appreciated during this difficult time.
