For those that don’t know me, my name is Lindsay Mohler. My husband Landon and I have a beautifully blended family of four children, with a fifth baby on the way. This pregnancy has been extremely complicated; those that are friends with me on social media have seen some of what’s going on.
April 20th, I began having severe headaches and high blood pressure readings. At that time, I was only 20 weeks pregnant. Since then, I have been in and out of the hospital. While home, I could do very little for myself or my children – to the point my husband has not been able to work. I have also been unable to drive myself anywhere unless it is a “good headache day” (which is rare) and in town. Otherwise, Landon has had to transport me and the kids everywhere.
I went to the ER in Hannibal on June 10th, 2025, with shortness of breath and blood pressure issues. The situation went from being prepared for discharge to being transferred to University of Missouri hospital for overnight observation upon speaking to my OB team here. Once I arrived, I was informed pretty quickly that this would *not* be an overnight stay, but I would be here until I deliver our sweet baby boy, Elliott Todd, due to severe preeclampsia that cannot be managed at home. As of today (6/11/25), I am 27 weeks and 4 days.
Funds received from this page will go towards helping pay bills while Landon is out of work taking care of all of us, as well as transportation, food, and lodging in Columbia for what will likely be a few weeks. Once Elliott arrives, our family will need continued support to cover transportation, lodging, and food during what will likely be a lengthy NICU stay. Landon will have to drive back and forth a minimum of twice a week due to shared custody of the older children.
Every little bit helps, and my family and I are immensely grateful for any help we receive.
