Hi, my name is Shabrika, and in October 2023, I received a life-changing diagnosis: multiple sclerosis (MS). Since then, my world has shifted in ways I never imagined — physically, emotionally, and financially.
One of the most difficult challenges I’ve faced is losing vision in one of my eyes — I am now legally blind on that side. This has impacted my ability to do everyday tasks, work as I used to, and maintain independence. MS has affected my body, my energy, and my vision — but I am determined not to let it break my spirit.
Living with MS has brought unexpected medical challenges and ongoing treatments, including doctor visits, medications, tests, and therapies that are essential to managing this condition. Unfortunately, the costs have added up quickly, and I’m reaching out to ask for your support during this difficult time.
