My nam e is Ronnie Vallee Hall and I am hoping to receive TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) treatment for anxiety and depression at Freedom Behavioral Health Solutions in Manhattan, Kansas. I am an aspiring small business owner, but I can’t seem to do anything meaningful until I can bring my own mind under control. I have tried many medications but nothing is effective. The treatment is 8,000 total and all donations will be sent to Freedom Behavioral to cover treatment costs.
Depression and anxiety has been a contributing factor in my life along with substance abuse. I’ve failed as a father, son, brother, Soldier, let down many employers, business owner. By way of substance abuse I’ve landed me in prison, treatment programs, etc. I keep letting myself and the world down and would like a chance to be productive.
Many don’t understand that depression is more than a feeling. It isn’t something that one just gets over. It has been a part of me ever since I can remember. What bothers me most is how mental illness has worn me down and caused me to become “unafraid” and willing to abandon my beliefs in search of relief. Alcohol helps but I now recognize that as a set-up for self-destruction. Depression takes the fight out of a a person and that’s not how I wish my life to be remembered.
I do try and do things to help my self but this imbalance I’m powerless over. I am currently attending AA meetings, substance abuse treatment 3x a week and also see a therapist once a week through Pawnee Behavoral health.
