A walk into a Jack in the Box changed Robert’s life forever.
As of November 25th, 2024, he is a quadriplegic.
Life moves on and Robert Frazier’s ADA house remodel is now in progress.
Thanks to the great help from Kim and Kent, we got the ramp installed. Thank you so very much! Step 1 has been completed.
Step 2. Creating an ADA accessible bathroom and shower.
The bathroom is being a bit more time-consuming.
A wonderful man named Thai is working on the bathroom after he works his normal job, working on his days off and anytime he has a couple of hours. He has the knowledge and the willingness to help, that speaks for itself.
Money to help buy supplies is urgently needed. Funds are low and the costs of materials are frightening.
Step 3. Robert has asked for a ramp so he can access the front porch. He will not be able to enter the house from the front porch but specifically, almost in tears, wanted to know if I could find a way for him to sit up there.
I said we will try.
We are also trying to trace down an electrical short that affects about 8 outlets. Each time we think it’s figured out, it turns out otherwise. Thai and Daniel are both working on this and so far it has everyone stumped.
So huge progress has been made as you can tell. The ramp is done, the bathroom is in mid-flux but the funds are running out.
Please donate what you can. Every dollar helps get Robert one day closer to being home.
