Last Tuesday, June 4th, Robby Harp suffered a sudden cardiac arrest and collapsed while working in Sherman. EMS was able to transport him to the nearest hospital, Wilson N. Jones, where he was admitted to the ICU and placed on the ventilator. He was found to have double pneumonia, was severely dehydrated, and his blood sugar was 500. After four days at Wilson and Jones with no improvement, he was transported to TMC for more intensive treatment. Since then, he has been placed on the ECMO machine, which is providing him a higher level of support for his heart and lungs. Doctors are predicting that he may remain in the ICU and on the ECMO machine for up to four weeks.
Robby’s diagnosis has brought unimaginable challenges to Robby, his wife Amber, and their children. Despite the future uncertainties, Robby and his family continue to fight with strength, courage, and trust in the healing power and mercy of God.
Robby faces an uncertain road ahead, including medical bills, time away from work, and therapy. We’ve created this fundraiser to offer some relief during this tough time and to lift some of the financial weight off the family. We want them to be able to focus on what matters most… Robby’s healing and their time together.
You may know Robby from church, his concrete or metal building business, his BBQ restaurant, or just as a friend, but if he has touched your life in any way, we hope you will consider giving. Every dollar, every message, and every share makes a difference!
Thank you for your generosity and support!
