In October of 2024 Peter went in for his annual well check up, like many of us do. Everything seemed routine as the year prior he was given a clean bill of health. When the doctor called him and told him he needed immediate treatment, he was shocked. His kidneys were failing. How could this be? In the year between check ups Peter developed high blood pressure. Having no symptoms or issues, it had gone unnoticed and undiagnosed. He started dialysis 3 days a week. As if this wasn’t hard enough in November he lost his job and suffered a stroke from all the stress.
Peter has 4 beautiful kids to care for and medical bills are piling up.
