Help Patricia Support Her Brothers Battling Cancer
Patricia is one of those people you immediately recognize as kind, hardworking, and humble. She’s been part of our broader Chicago community for the past couple of years — always showing up with a warm smile, doing what needs to be done.
Now, she’s quietly going through something unimaginably heavy.
In just the past two years, Patricia lost her husband of 37 years and her mother-in-law. And now, heartbreakingly, both of her brothers have been diagnosed with cancer.
Her older brother is battling stage 4 throat cancer. The tumor is nearly blocking his airway, and he recently started chemo. He can no longer eat by mouth and is being fed through a G-tube — which Patricia manages herself, four times a day.
Her younger brother was just diagnosed with colon cancer and will be starting treatment soon.
Patricia is doing everything she can to care for them, but the emotional, physical, and financial weight is overwhelming. She would never ask for help — so I’m asking for her.
We’re trying to raise $15,000 to help Patricia cover:
– Medical and caregiving costs
– Transportation to and from treatments
– Basic living expenses while she steps in as primary caregiver
If you can give, it would mean the world. If not, even a share goes a long way.
Let’s come together for someone who would never ask, but more than deserves it.
Thank you so much ❤️
