I came into the Emergency Room on April 22nd for jaundice. After doing several blood tests and a CT scan, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer and cirrhosis of the liver. The tumor in the pancreas started out at around 5 inches, and they found 7 lesions (cancer) in the liver. I don’t drink nor smoke and have no health concerns. Just 2 months earlier, I did a full physical with the VA, and all my blood levels were normal. So, I was totally blindsided by this news.

With trying to be put on short disability and only getting 60% of pay, which will cause a lot of financial burdens.
