Greetings family, friends and donors,
On Friday, December 13, 2024, after he spent time with family, watched some t.v. and ate lunch, Nathaniel Warren headed out to run errands for the household. There was nothing unusual about that day and he was in good spirits! Our family received a call that would change our lives later that day. Nathaniel was not sick and managed his overall health very well. Known to be very active and a doer, he unfortunately suffered a stroke later that afternoon.
Some of you know him as a pastor, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, confidante, work colleague or neighbor. Some of you know him from the entertaining posts he makes on Facebook about his family, his motorcycle Pearl and foods he enjoys cooking for his family! We know him as a husband, a father and a best friend.
Thankfully my dad survived the stroke and is recovering. The road to recovery is lengthy and requires intense and consistent rehabilitation to regain lost abilities. He’s come a long way and has shown improvements that doctors didn’t expect! God is GOOD!
As the patriarch of the Warren bunch, you can only imagine the impact this has on the family; it has been a challenging 6 months. The Warren family is requesting your love and support in monetary donations to help cover the costs of rehabilitation and therapy services.
Nathaniel’s care also requires making modifications to our home, the use of assistive devices and consistent use of visiting nurses for his medical needs and home-based therapy.
Our dad is strong-willed though and has even stronger faith! The family has faith and trusts that our dad will undoubtedly recover from this stroke! We are asking you to stand with us in agreement, keep us lifted in prayer and donate from your heart. No amount is too little.
Isaiah 40:31
“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
With Love,
The Warren Family
