Help Us Support Natalia’s Cancer Journey
Hi everyone,
We’re reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to ask for your support during the most difficult time our family has ever faced.
Natalia’s Story
My beloved mother-in-law, Natalia Fluitt, was diagnosed in October 2024 with Hypopharyngeal Squamous Cell Carcinoma (HSCC) — a rare and aggressive form of throat cancer. She’s just 51 years old, full of life, energy, and love.
Natalia is a woman who lives for family, friendship, and Zumba. For the past 10 years, she’s inspired and uplifted others as a Zumba instructor — dancing her way through life with joy and determination. Her passion for helping others shine has always been at the heart of who she is.
A Life Turned Upside Down
In hopes of finding better treatment and being surrounded by loved ones, Natalia left everything behind in Colorado and moved in with us — her son Nika and me (Brittany) — here in Pennsylvania. She made this huge sacrifice to be closer to the Johns Hopkins Cancer Center in Baltimore, Maryland, where we’re now pursuing second opinions and specialized care.
She brought only a few essentials with her, and now we’re working together to rebuild her comfort and stability from the ground up — all while managing her ongoing care and appointments.
How You Can Help
We’re humbly asking for support to help us with:
• Transportation to and from treatments in Baltimore
• ️ Comfort items and necessities for Natalia, since she had to leave so much behind
• Out-of-pocket medical expenses, supplies, and co-pays
• ❤️ Support as we adjust to becoming her full-time caregivers
Every donation — no matter how big or small — will go directly toward easing Natalia’s burdens so she can focus on what matters most: healing and fighting this cancer with everything she has.
If you aren’t able to donate right now, sharing this page, or simply keeping Natalia in your prayers and thoughts, means just as much.
Thank you for your love and support. We’re holding on to hope, and believing in brighter days ahead.
With love & gratitude,
Brittany & Nika
