In early 2025, Nancy went in for a lung screening after she decided to quit smoking, never expecting the life-changing news that followed. A mass was discovered on her lung, and after further testing—including a PET scan and a biopsy—she was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer.
As Nancy begins treatment in June, she faces not only the emotional and physical toll of cancer but also the financial burden. She lives alone, but I—her daughter—am here in town to care for her and get her to and from daily appointments. Neither of us are currently working, as my focus is fully on supporting her through treatment, making it even more difficult to manage day-to-day expenses.
The medical bills from scans, procedures, and now the upcoming treatment are overwhelming. We know times are hard for many, and asking for help isn’t easy—but any support, no matter the size, would mean the world to us.
Thank you for being part of Nancy’s fight. Every donation helps lighten the load and brings us one step closer to healing.
