My name is Mandy, and I am starting this to help out my boyfriend’s mom, Michelle (Stoner) King. Michelle is a nurse at the NUMC, a mother of 6, and a grandma to 14! She is the kind of person that will help out anyone and everyone, and right now, she could use some of that good karma back!
Michelle was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor and will soon be going in for surgery to get it removed. In the weeks after that, another surgery is scheduled to place a stent to relieve pressure in her brain because of a blockage.
It’s generous people like her that usually have the hardest time accepting or asking for help. But we can help! If all goes well, she is expected to be out of work for several months and could use the help in replacing that lost income as well as the medical bills that come with a devastating diagnosis like this.
Michelle has the support of her family, friends, and coworkers, but we are asking for the community and beyond to offer up your prayers and well wishes to this woman who more than deserves it.
