On Sunday June 8th Matt was hit on his motorcycle sending him to the ICU with extensive injuries, a fracture in his C1 vertebrae, broken wrist, ribs collar bone, fractures in his sternum, jaw, nose and a traumatic brain injury.
Wednesday June 11th they did surgery on his wrist. Going forward (date unknown) he is being moved to a second hospital for recovery where he will be for a few weeks while he does physical and occupational therapy. During this time he will be doing 3/4 hours of therapies a day to help strengthen his body and cognitive abilities.
Matt is a single father raising a beautiful little girl, Laylah. He is kind, caring and hard working and has already made multiple attempts to convince hospital staff to let him leave to go back to work hours within waking up after sleeping for days(lol).
Unfortunately due to these injuries he will be out of work for an unknown amount of time and we would like to help support him.

– Any medical bills that will not be covered by insurance
– Expenses like rent, utilities, insurance and groceries for his daughter
– Transportation to and from hospitals and parking for family taking care of him
