Help Marina Peet in Her Fight Against Triple Negative Breast Cancer
Hello everyone,
My name is Erica Vanderlinden, and I am reaching out on behalf of an incredible woman — my dear friend Marina Peet, who is currently facing one of the toughest battles of her life: Triple Negative Breast Cancer.
Marina was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer in July 2024. Since the diagnosis, her world has been turned upside down. What was once a routine life filled with love, work, and caring for others is now centered around doctor appointments, chemotherapy treatments, hospital stays, and managing side effects that make daily tasks (as simple as eating, etc.) incredibly difficult.
She is a devoted mother of three amazing kids, a loving and compassionate friend, a hardworking leader in the OB/GYN medical field, a community volunteer, and the kind of person who always puts others before herself. Now, she needs our help.
The Financial Burden
Despite having some insurance coverage, the out-of-pocket costs are overwhelming. Between chemotherapy, surgery, medications, CT scans and MRI’s, transportation, and time away from work, the bills are piling up. She is currently unable to work due to the physical toll of treatment, and her family is doing everything they can to make ends meet and support her growing financial needs.
We are seeking to raise $10k to help ease the financial strain and allow Marina to focus on what truly matters: healing and spending time with her loved ones.
