This isn’t just a fundraiser; it’s how our baby stays alive.
Hi, my name is Danielle Moreland. I’m a mother of a strong, tiny warrior.
In June 2025, Ben and I were leaving for a wedding. I went to kiss our daughter Liliana goodbye and noticed a bump on her neck. Instead of going to the wedding, we put Lilly in the car and came straight to the ER, where they did an ultrasound of her lump as well as her chest and neck X-ray to better see what was going on. They found a mass in her chest that is significantly large, and it was confirmed that the lump in her neck was, in fact, a lymph node.
Cancer has always been a scary word. When I was diagnosed, when I was doing treatment, and even for my follow-up visits, but when it comes to your child and you hear the word cancer…that is the most terrifying of all.
However, her journey is not without its challenges. Thrombotic microangiopathy (TMA), a rare and serious condition, has complicated her treatment, requiring specialized care and interventions.
The costs associated with Lilly’s treatment are staggering. Medical bills, hospital stays, medications, and travel expenses for treatment have placed an enormous strain on us. Despite the efforts of loved ones and the community, the finances remain overwhelming.
So here we are soliciting for your support to help Lilly beat cancer. Lilly is our miracle, my daughter is a tough fighter, she’s stubborn like her Momma and sweet like her daddy. I want my toddler to be able to live like a toddler.
Your contribution will be used for:
Medical expenses, including medications and hospital stays.
Travel and accommodation costs for treatment.
Support services, such as counseling and therapy.
Every donation, no matter how small, brings Lilly closer to receiving the life-saving treatment she needs.
Thank you for standing with us against cancer.
