Support Karen’s Fight Against Cancer

I started this fundraiser for a dear friend that I have had the pleasure of knowing since high school. Karen Lundgren/Scott has had many speed bumps in her 56 years. She has had many strokes, including mid-brain strokes, which have left her disabled. She is now approaching yet another speed bump. She has just been diagnosed with uterine cancer. Doctors aren’t sure the severity of the cancer is at this time. But they do know that the cancer has muscle and lymph node involvement. She will be having a complete hysterectomy and chemotherapy very soon. Unfortunately, this will require extra funds due to treatment, comfort measures, and loss of wages as her spouse and daughter take time off to get her to these appointments and care for her.
