My name is Judith, and a few months ago I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. My atrial fibrillation has become severe, and I also have herniated and bulging discs in my back. On top of that, both of my legs have doubled in size from the knee down, making it extremely difficult to walk or get around. I’ve been in and out of the hospital frequently, trying to manage these health issues. Unfortunately, I don’t qualify for AFib surgery, so I rely on medications and therapy to keep my condition stable. The costs of these treatments, along with the possibility of needing a laminectomy for my back, have become overwhelming.
I am a widow living in a 55 and older community, and I’m grateful to have my own apartment. However, my health challenges have made it hard to keep up with daily expenses and medical bills. I live in constant pain and struggle to afford the medications and therapies that are essential for my well-being. Any support would help me maintain my independence, manage my health, and continue living in the place I call home. Your kindness would make a real difference in my life as I navigate these difficult times.
