Hi everyone,
On May 9th, our dad Jorge Mendoza was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. What started as a blood infection quickly became life-threatening. He was diagnosed with sepsis, which led to kidney failure and further complications as the infection has spread to his spinal cord and brain.
This has been the most difficult time our family has ever faced. My dad is currently in the ICU, receiving around-the-clock care. He is fighting with everything he has—and so are we. This journey will be long and uncertain, but we’re holding on to faith, hope, and the strength he has always shown us.
Our dad has always been the backbone of our family- the one who worked hard every day to provide, support, and take care of us. We’re reaching out for support from anyone who can donate, share, or send prayers our way. As the sole provider in our household, his unexpected illness has put us in a difficult financial position, and we’re doing our best to manage during this uncertain time.
Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward his care and help lift some of the financial burden off our shoulders so we can focus on being there for him.

El 9 de mayo, nuestro papá Jorge Mendoza fue llevado de urgencia al hospital en estado crítico. Lo que comenzó como una infección en la sangre rápidamente se volvió una situación que puso en riesgo su vida. Fue diagnosticado con sepsis, lo que llevó a una falla renal y a más complicaciones, ya que la infección se ha extendido hasta su médula espinal y cerebro.
Este ha sido el momento más difícil que nuestra familia ha enfrentado. Mi papá está actualmente en la unidad de cuidados intensivos, recibiendo atención las 24 horas. Él está luchando con todas sus fuerzas—y nosotros también.
Estamos pidiendo el apoyo de quienes puedan donar, compartir o enviarnos sus oraciones. Su enfermedad inesperada nos ha colocado en una situación financiera difícil, y estamos haciendo todo lo posible para salir adelante en estos momentos inciertos.
Cada donación, se destinará directamente a su cuidado y ayudará a aliviar un poco la carga económica para que podamos concentrarnos en estar a su lado.
