3 weeks ago, John was admitted with what we thought would be a quick in-and-out hospital stay. It started with a low platelet count that required several medications and transfusions that suppressed his immune system. We knew the risk of infection with the medications but also the risk of bleeding if his platelets didn’t improve.
This past week, things took a sharp turn for John. From one day to the next, he quickly became more short of breath and had a harder time breathing. Long story short, he was intubated and started on antibiotics for infection in the lungs. 2 days ago, John became more critical and had to be transferred. John remains in critical condition on several life support machines.
We as a family, many churches, and friends are praying, fasting, and waiting for the miraculous healing we have been praying for! In the meantime, John and Ana have not been working. Ana was very hesitant for me to do this. I know the road ahead of them is gonna be a long, slow recovery. I am asking for help to supplement any income not being made. Anything financially helps, but what we mostly need is prayers. We ask the Lord to clear his lungs from infection and get his body out of septic shock. Thank you all in advance
