Jimmy Clark, my brother, a son, husband, father, grandfather and a dedicated trucker and small business owner, has always been the kind of person who steps up for others. Whether it’s helping fellow drivers on the road or quietly donating to local causes, Jimmy has made a difference in his community. Now, he’s facing one of the toughest challenges of his life: a diagnosis of stage 3 thymic adenocarcinoma.
Jimmy’s illness has forced him to step away from his trucking company, which he built from the ground up. Since he is the only driver, the company can’t operate without him behind the wheel. He hasn’t been able to work for several months and will soon begin six weeks of chemotherapy, followed by surgery and possibly radiation. The uncertainty of treatment and recovery means he won’t be able to return to work for the foreseeable future.
This fundraiser is to help cover the business expenses that need to be paid even while the trucks are parked, as well as any other needs and unexpected expenses that may arise during Jimmy’s treatment. By supporting Jimmy, you’re helping ensure that he doesn’t lose the business he’s worked so hard to build, and giving him the chance to focus on his health. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a real difference for Jimmy and his family as they navigate this difficult time.
