Help Jennifer Marlett Fight Stage 4 Cancer & Prepare for Life-Saving Surgeries
Hi, my name is Jennifer Marlett, and I’m fighting Stage 4 colon cancer that has spread to my liver. Over the course of 7 months, I’ve had surgery to get a colostomy bag in place, which is a life-altering change that I’m still adjusting to every day. I’ve gone through 12 grueling rounds of chemotherapy and will possibly need more, if not radiation.
Now, I’m preparing for the next difficult phase: two major surgeries that are necessary to remove as much of the cancer as possible. These procedures are critical, but they come with huge emotional and financial burdens.
What I’m Facing:
12 rounds of chemotherapy so far, with more treatment to come
A colostomy surgery to possibly get it reversed or to have it permanent
Two major surgeries ahead to remove tumors from my colon and liver
Regular travel for appointments and specialized care
Mounting medical bills, co-pays, and medication costs
Ongoing struggle to manage everyday expenses while unable to work
Despite everything, I’m doing everything I can to stay strong — mentally, emotionally, and physically. But this fight is bigger than me, and I’m reaching out for help from my community, friends, and anyone who feels called to support.
