Hi everyone,
I’m starting this fundraiser on behalf of my sister and her husband, Jeff, who was recently diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). This news has been heartbreaking for all of us, and while Jeff is facing this challenge with strength and courage, the road ahead is uncertain and overwhelming.
Right now, Jeff is still able to live independently, but the medical costs are already adding up—specialist visits, diagnostic testing, and out-of-pocket expenses that insurance doesn’t fully cover. As anyone who’s faced a serious illness knows, these expenses build quickly and unpredictably.
We’re hoping to ease some of that financial stress so Jeff and my sister can focus on what really matters: time together, treatment decisions, and making the most of each day.
Your support will help with:
Ongoing medical appointments and specialists
Medications and therapies not fully covered by insurance
Travel costs to ALS clinics or specialists
Planning for future care needs
We’ve set a goal of $22,000 to help cover these costs over the coming months and to begin preparing for the challenges ahead. Any amount—no matter how small—will make a meaningful difference for Jeff and his family. If you’re not in a position to donate, simply sharing this page with others is just as appreciated.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your compassion, generosity, and support.
With gratitude,
Kyle
