Hi, I’m Jason — a single father, IT architect, and the proud parent of a recent high school graduate. I’ve spent my entire career helping others solve problems — but right now, I’m facing one I can’t fix alone.
Over the past year, I’ve been quietly battling severe dental trauma. I’ve lost nearly all my upper teeth, and the remaining lower teeth are broken or decayed to the root. I’ve done everything I can to keep this hidden — I’ve avoided video calls, worn a mask at my own son’s graduation, and applied to every dental financing company I could find. I’ve been denied across the board.
I’m covered under a basic dental insurance plan (PDP Plus), but it doesn’t come close to covering the treatment I need — full extractions, reconstruction, and functional dentures or implants. The total out-of-pocket cost is over $30,000, and with two sons to support and a mother just beginning her cancer battle, I simply can’t take this on alone.
For a while, I’ve been able to keep working because my job was remote. But recently, I was promoted to a role that requires public speaking, travel, and leadership at national conferences. My team — and my company — are relying on me to represent them. And I want to. I’m ready. But right now, I can’t smile. I can’t speak clearly. And I can’t show my face in front of a room.
This fundraiser is not about vanity. It’s about being able to show up for my family, my team, and myself with dignity and strength. I’ve always been someone who fixes things behind the scenes — but today, I’m asking for help so I can finally step forward.
Every donation — no matter the amount — brings me closer to healing, to speaking again with confidence, and to showing up fully in the role I’ve worked so hard to earn.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
