On May 28th, 2025, on his way home from work while turning into his subdivision, Jamie Siford’s life was FOREVER changed. He was involved in a 3-vehicle accident at no fault of his own.
Jamie has always been the “breadwinner” in the household. He is a family man, whether it be riding motorcycles with his wife Lisa or riding the tractor with one of his 4 grandchildren. He is an amazing Pap-Pap. Jamie has been so excited recently as he has another granddaughter due to be born in August and a grandson due in October.
After the accident on May 28th, it has been touch and go for him and the family. He was sent to Berkeley Medical Center, and from there, after getting him stable, he was sent to Inova Fairfax, where he currently is in CRITICAL CARE but stable condition. After many tests and surgeries, Jamie has yet to regain consciousness. His prognosis is unknown to doctors as the brain is a complex organ, and they will not know the long-term damage until he awakes.
The road to recovery is going to be a long and grueling path. Not just for Jamie, but the family as well. The normalcy that has been in Jamie & Lisa’s life since they met in 1993 has now been flipped upside down in the blink of an eye.
Lisa has taken off work to be with Jamie through all of this “roller-coaster ride.” So with Jamie & Lisa not working, the bills still need to be paid. There are expenses for her traveling to and from the hospital as she comes home often to check on her elderly father who also lives with them. She is staying by Jamie’s side day in, day out, so there is the added expense of her eating at the hospital daily. Not to mention the medical bills that will start coming in.
This is a life-altering situation that the Siford family is dealing with currently… and if you are able to give a small donation to help them through these troubled waters, it would be greatly appreciated. If you aren’t able to financially donate, keeping Jamie in your prayers daily will do as well. We would also appreciate you sharing this post to get the word out to our great community.
