Support Jacquelyn’s Recovery Journey

Jacquelyn, a dedicated mother and former employee at Florida Blue, has faced immense health challenges since her first brain surgery in 2020. Her pituitary gland was severely affected by a tumor, and after a second surgery in 2023, she suffered a stroke that left her pituitary non-functional. Since Thanksgiving 2024, Jacquelyn has been in and out of the hospital, battling pneumonia, high blood sodium levels, and seizures. Her most recent hospital stay involved being intubated for nearly three weeks due to seizures.

Jacquelyn’s illness has drastically changed life for her and her 13-year-old daughter, Jayda. Once a strong and hardworking individual, Jacquelyn can no longer work, leaving the family struggling with household expenses. Jayda, who was only nine when her mom had the stroke, misses traveling with her mom and just having fun with her.

Currently, Jacquelyn is in a rehabilitation hospital in Gainesville, FL, and the family is facing mounting costs for medical care, medications, and travel expenses. With Jacquelyn missing doctor visits due to copay costs and the challenge of visiting her in another town, the family is in urgent need of support. Your help can make a significant difference in ensuring Jacquelyn receives the care she needs and alleviating the financial burden on her family.
