Our beloved Holley is facing a battle no one should ever have to endure again. This would make her fifth battle with the awful endometriosis. Unfortunately Holley has been advised that her cancer is incurable. Holley has become resistant to most chemotherapy’s. She has received as much as one body can endure of radiation. Due to the areas and amount of masses they are unable to surgically remove it. At this the doctors are trying immunotherapy on her every 21 days. At this time Holley is starting to have side effects: blisters on/in mouth, sensitive teeth/gums, wheezing, chest tightness and chest pains. This is just to name a few but there are many more.
Holley is not just a patient; she is a beacon of kindness, hard work, and love. For those lucky enough to know her, she is truly a blessing. But now, more than ever, she needs our support.
Due to all the side effects there is a chance we will need to stop treatment. If we stop treatment then we will need to be referred to a trial for treatment. Unfortunately most of these trials will not be accepted by Holley’s insurance. She will need to pay for them out of pocket. Not only will she face the expense of treatment she will face travel, housing, food and being alone during treatment. Shall she have to travel out of state there is a chance she will be alone at time. Gina will need to stay behind to tend and take care of their business.
