My dear friend Glen and his wife Melissa are in a season of unknowns as Glen experiences some major health issues. I’m setting up this fundraiser to benefit his medical bills and funds for Melissa to stay in Boise to care for him.
A few weeks ago Glen Bierman was admitted for an emergency gall bladder surgery. His heart had some issues happening so he had to wait for a few days before getting surgery. This surgery enlightened the medical team to other serious complications in his pancreas and liver. In a quick turn of events Glen’s health deteriorated quickly and had to be life flighted from Lewiston to Boise to receive more intense care. His family signed him up for life flight insurance the day before, but missed the time needed to make it official. They are left with a huge life flight bill. $30,000 roughly. Glen is still in the hospital in Boise, with some days looking okay and other days tracking worse. He has pancreatis, parts of his liver and pancreas are dead and his kidneys are struggling. There are still issues with his heart they are trying to figure out. They aren’t sure how much longer he’ll need to be in Boise but at least a few more weeks. Melissa, his wife, has been by his side through it all.
Glen owns a painting business and has the heart of gold serving those around him. I’ve personally been blessed by Glen when he let me come look through his paint collection and use them free of charge to paint my son’s nursery. I know so many others in the LC valley and CrossPoint Alliance Church who have been deeply blessed by Glen’s heart to serve others. They would never ask for anything themselves, but I know taking a piece of the financial burden from them would relieve some stress while Glen’s health is unknown.
They would love continued prayer. I’ll post updates as I hear more from them!
