Support for Krystal Justus: A Fighter Facing Her Toughest Battle Yet
My dear friend Krystal Justus has faced more than her fair share of challenges in life. Born with Cystic Fibrosis—a genetic illness that impacts the lungs and other organs daily—she has never let it define her. With unwavering strength, resilience, and hope, Krystal has taken on every obstacle life has placed in her path.
Several years ago, she learned she carried the BRCA gene, which greatly increases the risk of breast and ovarian cancer. Determined to take control of her health, Krystal courageously underwent a total hysterectomy and a double mastectomy. She did everything possible to prevent cancer from touching her life.
Yet, despite her efforts, Krystal was recently diagnosed with high-grade serous carcinoma—the most aggressive and deadly form of ovarian cancer.
As one of her closest friends, I’ve watched Krystal give selflessly to others time and time again. Now, it’s our turn to be there for her. The months ahead will be incredibly difficult—physically, emotionally, and financially. Krystal is preparing to undergo 3 months of chemotherapy, followed by a long-term chemo-inhibitor regimen that may continue for life.
She cannot do this alone.
I’m asking anyone who feels moved to help—whether it’s financially, spiritually, or just by showing up in love and support. Every donation, every prayer, and every gesture of kindness makes a difference.
We’ve set up a fundraiser to help ease the financial burden during this fight. If you would prefer to give via Cash App (which avoids fundraiser’s end-of-campaign cash-out policy), please see my Facebook page for my phone number for the Cash App Information.
Let’s come together for Krystal the way she has always shown up for others. Thank you from the bottom of
