Hello, my name is William Vella, and I’m reaching out with love, hope, and a deep sense of urgency.
My mother, Betty Carboni, is 90 years old—a resilient, caring woman who spent her life giving to others. Today, she needs support of her own. She suffers from recurring seizures, chronic upper respiratory infections, and serious breathing difficulties. Because of her fragile health, she now lives in a nursing home where she can receive the specialized care and supervision she needs.
While her condition is being managed with the help of the wonderful staff, the monthly cost of her nursing home stay is becoming more than I can afford on my own. These fees cover her room, care, respiratory therapy, and the support she needs every day just to stay stable and comfortable.
