I am a grandmother who is setting up this fundraiser to help my son and his wife with extra expenses incurred with their six-week-old who was admitted to a Children’s Hospital an hour away from their home.
We thought this was all related to reflux issues, but once the doctors started running tests, it was quickly found that he had a narrowing of his aorta that was causing all the other problems and it would need to be repaired. Surgery was finally performed yesterday afternoon and was successful at this time. It is unknown how long it will be before he is discharged.
They also have one-year-old and two-year-old daughters. They are incurring extra expenses of gas and food during this time. My son used all of his PTO from work when the baby was born on May 1st. Any amount will help! If you can’t financially help, please keep them in your prayers!
