Dear friends,
It’s with a heavy heart that I share some difficult news. One of my dearest friends recently learned—just six months before her wedding—that her mother has been diagnosed with bulbar-onset ALS.
For those unfamiliar, bulbar-onset ALS is a progressive neurological disease that affects the brainstem. It gradually impairs speech, facial muscle control, and the ability to swallow. In its advanced stages, it can even compromise breathing, making it a life-threatening condition.
With so much uncertainty ahead and no clear sense of how much time they have together, I feel a deep urge to do something—anything—to support her and her family during this incredibly challenging time.
To help ease some of the emotional and financial burden, I’ve started a fundraiser campaign. If you’re able to contribute, no matter the amount, it would mean the world to them—and to me. Your kindness and generosity would be deeply appreciated.
Thank you for reading, and thank you for caring.
