Hi, my name is Isaac, and I’m starting this fundraiser for my close friend Erick Ivan Haro, who was recently in a devastating motorcycle accident. He’s currently recovering from multiple serious injuries, and the road ahead will be long, painful, and expensive.
Erick’s injuries are extensive. On his left side, he has a shattered knee held together with 7 nails, 2 pins, and a screw; a broken femur with 2 plates; and a damaged hip requiring a custom plate. His left arm suffered a broken thumb that pierced the skin, a broken wrist, and fractures to both the ulna and radius, requiring 2 pins in his hand, a T-plate in the wrist, and 2 plates in his forearm.
On his right side, Erick’s femur snapped clean through, and he now has a rod running through the bone with 4 pins. His right arm also sustained a clean break through the ulna, requiring a plate for stabilization.
Erick is one of the strongest, goofiest, and most uplifting people I know. But no one should have to go through this kind of trauma alone. Between surgeries, rehab, and being unable to work, the financial stress is piling up fast.
