Eric Hafer is a local businessman who owns a truck company. Why is Eric special? Because even with his busy work schedule, Eric donates a lot of his trucking time, use of his equipment, and fuel to local non-profits. Eric was a key component in getting several truckloads of critical supplies to disaster zones after Hurricane Helene. When most people were getting ready for the upcoming holidays last year, Eric drove his truck through ice storms and narrow mountain roads to ensure the supplies arrived safely.
Eric was recently in a horrific accident while driving his semi-truck. While Eric is physically okay, his truck was totaled and there was loss of life, leaving Eric without a way to work and provide for his family.
Eric will be out of work for several months as he recovers from this. At home, Eric has a wife who is currently expecting a baby this fall and a young son. Stephanie is currently unable to work at this time as she is on doctor-ordered bed rest with her pregnancy.
We would like to help raise funds for Eric and his family to help cover any medical expenses and all other upcoming expenses that they may have to help ease some of the financial burden and stress.
