Hello, my name is Dustin and I live in Anadarko, Oklahoma.
My mother has been feeding this stray boy on a fixed income for the past six months, and tonight she went to feed him at his usual place where he sleeps, which is an abandoned trailer home. We found he was covered in porcupine quills.
We simply cannot afford the bills, and his estimated costs are $500-600 for the removal.
The vet is called Southwest Veterinary Clinic in Elgin, Oklahoma. If anyone can find it in their heart to help Bleu, we are going to take him home and foster him until we can find him a permanent home and so he doesn’t get injured like this again.
He is currently in a tremendous amount of pain and we cannot afford to take him to the vet.
