After three long years of battling kidney failure, endless dialysis treatments, and the heartbreak of a failed transplant, Danny has finally received the gift of life—a second kidney transplant. While we are beyond grateful for this incredible chance at a healthier future, we know the journey is far from over.
This transplant marks a new beginning, but also comes with a long and challenging road to recovery. The weeks and months ahead will be filled with doctor visits, hospital check-ups, medication adjustments, and the very real risk of complications or rejection.
Through all of this, Danny has shown unbelievable courage—not just for himself, but for our family. We have two young sons who have watched their dad fight through pain, fatigue, and uncertainty with quiet strength. He has missed out on so many moments simply because his body couldn’t keep up, but this transplant gives us hope that he’ll be able to be more present in their lives moving forward.
Now, as we focus on healing and rebuilding, we’re facing a new set of financial challenges. Medical bills, travel costs for appointments, time away from work, and ongoing treatment expenses are quickly adding up. We’re humbly asking for your support to help ease the burden and allow us to focus on what matters most—his recovery.
Whether you can give a little or a lot, every contribution helps. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this with others who might be able to. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of this journey with us.
With gratitude,
The Monserrates
