Our dear friend and neighbor, Chuck Shorten, has recently suffered multiple heart attacks and is now out of work as he focuses on healing and recovering from the serious damage done to his heart.

Chuck is not just a familiar face — he’s the heart of the Parkwood community. For years, he’s generously given his time, energy, and handyman skills to help others. Whether it was fixing a neighbor’s leaky faucet, volunteering at community events, or lending a hand to friends and family in need — Chuck has always been there.

Now it’s our turn to show up for Chuck.

The road to recovery is long, and the financial burden of being out of work while managing medical care is overwhelming. Every donation, big or small, will go directly toward helping Chuck cover medical expenses, living costs, and daily essentials while he focuses on healing.
