Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
We are reaching out to share the story of our beloved son, Anthony Whitfield II, who is bravely battling advanced stage 3C testicular cancer at just 34 years old. His journey began on December 17th, when he received the life-altering diagnosis. Since then, Anthony has undergone four rigorous rounds of chemotherapy and a life-saving, over ten-hour surgery at the Mayo Clinic to remove cancer that had spread to his lymphatic system. He spent several days in the ICU recovering.
Despite these efforts, his fight continues. Anthony is still healing from this major surgery and faces additional operations at the Mayo Clinic to remove remaining cancer in his lungs and liver. Since his diagnosis, he has been unable to work, and unfortunately, his employer does not offer disability benefits. He currently has no vehicle due to unforeseen mechanical issues and is struggling to meet basic needs, including food, rent, and transportation for critical follow-up care.
Through all of this, Anthony remains a loving and dedicated father, striving to stay strong not only for himself but also for his children and family. His resilience and determination inspire all who know him.
We are seeking to raise $25,000 to assist with medical bills, basic living expenses, transportation, and recovery-related costs. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in helping him navigate this journey with less worry.
If you’re unable to contribute financially, please consider sharing this campaign and keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers. Your support means the world to us, and we are deeply grateful for your kindness and generosity.
With heartfelt thanks,
The Whitfield Family
