Andrea is a 36 year old mother of 3, who gave birth to her most recent child in April. She was set to return to work this month to continue to support her family and provide her children with everything that they need to thrive and just make it in this crazy world – a struggle we are all familiar with.
However, her world was drastically changed on Monday, June 9th when she and her family were in a roll over car accident caused by hydroplaning on the expressway. While most in the car have thankfully only come out with some bumps and bruises, Andrea was ejected from the vehicle and is currently hospitalized with significant injuries. Right now, we know that she sustained a broken back, shoulder, knee and ribs. She is facing multiple surgeries, all the risks that come with that, and a long road to recovery ahead.
This accident has put a whole stop to her day-to-day life as she will be hospitalized for more time than any of us could afford, especially with a growing newborn at home who is wholly dependent on Andrea for care. Now, Andrea is forced to rely on others to not only care for all her children, but is faced with how to keep up financially in these trying times without being able to work as she focuses on her medical journey.
Anything that you are able to donate will be so helpful and allow Andrea to be able to focus on healing to get back to her children. It will help with things like food for the children, housing costs, clothing for a rapidly growing infant and of course the unexpected medical bills that pile up quickly. She is such a devoted mom, and I just know that any amount you can donate will help Andrea breathe a little easier and be so grateful for in her time of need!
