Amanda is the heart of our family and an incredible mother to me and my younger brother. She’s always been the one to lift us up, no matter what challenges we face. Recently, Amanda was diagnosed with breast cancer, and she’s preparing for a mastectomy. This diagnosis has changed everything for us. She hasn’t been able to work, and her energy is so low that she can’t spend time with us the way she wants to. It’s been hard watching her go through this, especially knowing how much she’s always done for others.
Amanda is a dedicated social worker who has spent her career helping homeless individuals find stability and guiding troubled teenagers away from drugs and alcohol. She’s the kind of person who will go out of her way to help anyone in need, whether it’s a family member or a stranger. Now, she’s the one who needs support.
