Help Admirol Devereux Recover from Traumatic Brain Injury
On September 11, 2024, life changed in an instant for Admirol Devereux — a loving person, business owner, and a pillar of his community. While driving home to Milledgeville from his hometown of Sparta, GA, Admirol was involved in a tragic car accident that left him with a traumatic brain injury (TBI).
Since the accident, Admirol has required full-time, in-home care. His recovery is ongoing, with more continuing rehabilitation, which is outpatient . His wife, Valancia, has remained by his side every step of the way — managing his care, working a full-time job, part time at her flower shop, and operating his food truck to help cover mounting expenses.
Admirol is the kind of man who’s always stepped up for others — employing people in need, uplifting his community, and giving without expecting anything in return. Now, he and Valancia need our help.
Valancia is balancing more than anyone should have to — working to keep their household and businesses running while preparing for the next phase of Admirol’s recovery. She may soon have to take time off work to begin transporting him to outpatient rehabilitation once it’s scheduled, which will only increase the financial pressure.
We are raising funds to support this amazing family with:
Medical and in-home care expenses
Future rehabilitation and transportation costs
Lost income if Valancia must take time off work
Support for their small businesses
Daily living expenses during Admirol’s long recovery journey
If Admirol has ever impacted your life — or if you simply believe in helping good people through hard times — now is the time to show up for him.
Every donation, prayer, and share means the world.
With love and gratitude,
The Devereux Family & Friends
