Hey ya’ll, My name is Christopher Koprivec & as some of you may know & as some of you may just be learning this the first time. My momma Trisha has had two of the roughest years fighting for her life. On May 4th, 2023, she was rushed to the emergency room only to find out she had a blockage in her large colon & a mass growing in her small intestines. Turning to find that out, she was transported to Riverside & immediately went into the OR for emergency surgery.
After many battles facing stage 4 colon cancer with liver mets, many surgeries, being put out of work & having multiple chemo sessions throughout the past two years, my mother has done nothing but fight to be here.
Unfortunately on June 5th, 2025 my momma & I had to head back to Riverside in hopes again she wasn’t having another obstruction to her colon.
Thankfully she got there in time & thankfully to the staff that didn’t happen. Although that being said, her latest scan showed a progression of metastatic disease to her lungs, liver, & sigmoid colon & at this rate her only option to decrease the size of her modules is chemo again.
Although partially it seemed to help, chemo wasn’t easy for her physically, mentally & especially emotionally. Among the stress of trying to get healthy, she was having to continue life financially like she wasn’t sick & by all means you could imagine how that would work out.
Truly I understand we all have our struggles we are facing in our lives, it’s never easy & we’re all just getting by or still learning. I’m not trying to ask for a lot, truly just help so we don’t have to stress financially for at least some time. By all means if you cannot donate than spreading a prayer for her or wishful thinking for her life for what she’s going through is perfect
