On June 4, 2025, heaven gained an incredible man, and a beautiful, loving wife had to say goodbye for the last time.
To know Dan was to know a friend who would lift you up, even on days when he couldn’t lift himself. He was always there to help and make others smile, while he suffered internally from chronic pain. But he never missed a beat.
To say he had luck was an understatement because there wasn’t a single gun raffle he couldn’t win. [Secretly, I think they were rigged in his favor.] jk… but, reality was, we were always the luckier ones because we had him, no matter what, day or night.
As hard as it is to say I’ll see you later, Dan left behind his beautiful wife, Alita. Even in all the suffering over the last 25 months, Alita never left his side. She provided for them both and worked tirelessly to provide and help him. She said until death to us part and she fulfilled every ounce of that promise.
now it’s our turn. With Dan leaving so suddenly and unexpectedly, Alita is left with picking up the pieces. In a time when Dan and Alita would show up wherever they could, Alita needs us to show up for her.
all funds will be directed to Alita personally for funeral expenses, and her own personal expenses while she navigates a new normal.
