My Story
Hi, my name is Francis. I’m 69 years old, a senior and a divorcee, and I’ve recently been diagnosed with lupus — a serious autoimmune disease. It has affected my kidneys and caused constant swelling and pain in my feet, making it hard for me to walk or leave my home. I also deal with severe fatigue and red blotches on my forehead from lupus that make me feel embarrassed and isolated.
Because of these health challenges, I’ve been unable to work. I’ve fallen behind on my rent and urgently need $7,000 to avoid eviction and to help pay medical co-pays and bills.
