Help Me Breathe Again: My Breast Reduction Journey
Hi, my name is Aujena, and I’m raising funds to get breast reduction surgery—a procedure that will drastically improve my quality of life, health, and confidence. My goal is to raise $15,000 to cover the cost of surgery, recovery, and necessary medical care not covered by insurance.
The Pain Behind the Smile
For as long as I can remember, I’ve carried the physical and emotional weight of having overly large breasts. What some see as “a blessing” has been a source of constant pain for me—back, neck, and shoulder pain, posture issues, painful indentations from bra straps, and daily discomfort. These aren’t just inconveniences—they’re daily struggles that affect how I work, parent, move, and live.
Simple things like exercising, finding clothes that fit properly, or even playing with my kids become difficult and uncomfortable. Emotionally, I’ve had to navigate the frustration of being sexualized for something I didn’t choose, and the shame that can come with trying to hide or shrink myself just to feel “normal.”
Why Breast Reduction?
After years of living in pain and insecurity, I finally consulted with a specialist who confirmed what I’ve known all along: breast reduction is not a cosmetic want—it’s a medical need. It’s the next step in taking control of my health and reclaiming my life. Unfortunately, insurance won’t cover the surgery, and the full cost is $15,000.
A Thank-You with Heart
To make this campaign more personal, I’d love to give something back. For anyone who donates, I’ll create a fun, customized video featuring your favorite product—cleaning supplies, laundry essentials, home favorites—you name it! Just send me your request, and I’ll make something just for you as a thank-you for your support.
✨ How You Can Help
Every donation—no matter the amount—gets me one step closer to relief. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this campaign with your network. Your kindness means more than I can express.
I’m ready to move without pain. I’m ready to feel confident in my body. I’m ready to finally breathe a little easier—literally and emotionally.
Thank you for being part of my journey.
With love,
Aujena
